This week, some 15 great white sharks surrounded paddle boarders in Dana Point, California—located near Long Beach.
Footage captured by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department shows the aerial view of the scary scene.
They sent a warning to the boarders: “Attention in the water: This is the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.… You are paddleboarding next to approximately 15 great white sharks.”
“They are advising you exit the water in a calm manner. The sharks are as close as the surfline.”
“Please do not enter the water,” the deputy added.
On April 29, a woman was bitten by a shark near Capistrano Beach in Dana Point, The Orange County Register reported.
