A Florida man says he was attacked because he displayed a Trump flag in his front yard, according to local news reports.

Jeff Good said that he was watching the Fourth of July fireworks when someone began yelling at him about President Donald Trump. “He was saying vile things about our president,” said Good, according to WPTV.

A car driver told Good that he had to remove the flag. After Good refused, he claims the driver punched him in the face.  Apparently, while still sitting behind the wheel of the car.

According to WPEC, Good said his arm got stuck in the car, and he was dragged 30 feet. “I have some bumps and bruises that I don’t think you want to see,” said Good.

“My political goal here is just to express my love for this president and for somebody to punch you in the face for just presenting the flag to the public, that is enough said right there,” said Good.

Donald Tarca Jr., a friend of Good’s, said the violence is unacceptable.

“Jeff was standing outside watching the local fireworks when an older male with gray hair and a female in a small car possibly silver stopped in front of his house and began talking when Jeff walked up to the car the hear what he was saying the male in the car started complaining about our President and told Jeff that he needed to remove the flag for his yard,” Tarca wrote on Facebook.

He added: “When Jeff told he would not the male then punched Jeff in the face when the favor was returned the male stepped on the gas and drug Jeff at least 30 feet down the road before he became free from the car. This is completely unacceptable.”

Good said that the flag will stay in his front yard and that he’s lucky to walk away.

“He still will be the president tomorrow and the day after so might as well keep the flag there today tomorrow and the day after,” Good added.

Good said the car was a silver, possible two-door vehicle. Boynton Beach police said the suspect was an older white man, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

It comes as a man was arrested for snatching a “Make America Great Again” hat from a 16-year-old Trump supporter in San Antonio, Texas. Kino Jimenez, 30, is accused of throwing a drink at the teen as he was being recorded inside a Whataburger.

KSAT reported that the San Antonio Police Department’s Robbery Task Force Unit located Jimenez in Universal City. Officials said that he will be charged with theft of a person, a state felony. His bond was set for $5,000.

President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., tweeted Thursday that he wanted to a sent a “MAGA” hat to the teen in the video. “If someone can get me this young man’s information I’ll get him a new #maga hat… SIGNED by #potus!!!” he tweeted to his followers.

“This is disgusting and a disgrace,” Trump Jr. also tweeted. “No one should feel unsafe supporting their President @realDonaldTrump or #MAGA agenda. Imagine someone did this to an Obama supporter?!?!”
