There is an old Mexican proverb that says, “It is not enough for a man to know how to ride; he must know how to fall.”

This Smithville, Texas baby horse had her equestrian balancing abilities put to the test! Not on purpose, mind you, but because of a very, very scary noise that startled her into a fearful panic—her own sneeze!
According to Equine Horse Products, horses sneeze quite often. This can be due to a number of factors, chief among which is a respiratory allergy. But because this sneeze happened within just hours after being born, we’re not quite ready to diagnose an allergy yet.
However, we might want to check for Sternutaphobia, which is the Latin-derived medical term for “fear of sneezing.”
Sammi Hill, the owner of this wobbly silly filly and a camera, happened to have both in the same place when she captured the very short but entertaining episode at the newborn’s expense.
