Monday, Aug. 14 & Monday, Aug. 21 Izakaya and sake lounge SakaMai is holding a series of sake classes and tastings led by Jessica Joly, sake sommelier and the 2016 Miss Sake USA. Each class will feature sake from a different brewery and teach guests everything from brewing techniques and history to tasting tips and pairings. California Versus New York Wine Tasting at MOFAD

From Tuesday, Aug. 15 Charles Masson’s Majorelle is opening for lunch, offering French fare with Mediterranean influences. The à la carte menu includes dishes like pizzetta with tomatoes, capers, and arugula; cheese souffle with mâche lettuce; and duck confit with French lentils and pearl onions.
