Have you imagined yourself being the noble hero who saves the girl from the bad guy? Well this is one of those stories–in real life.
Reddit user ThrowAwayForPancakes was out one night having dinner with his girlfriend when behind them another date was underway, and it wasn’t going well.
The 23-year-old young man couldn’t help but overhear the extremely disturbing conversation taking place just one table behind them, and at some point he decided to do something about it—but just as he was getting up he felt a hand come down on his shoulder.
A couple’s date was beginning to take a turn from bad to worse when one hero stepped in and saved the lady.
ThrowAwayForPancakes stepped back and let the more experienced gentleman handle the situation. The observer then shared the epic confrontation on a Reddit thread titled Women of Reddit, what has been your worst ‘nice guy’ experience?, calling the man a ‘hero.’
People are comparing the awesome cop with characters like Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis, and even Batman. One Reddit user said,
“I pictured a Bruce Wayne type figure when I read this. Going from Batman to Bruce with ease. I would have been in shock and awe to witness this go down.”
Now Reddit users are calling this cop a hero too.
His heroic actions have inspired internet users and even made people cry tears of happiness, hope, and admiration.
Not only is he a real-life Batman, he also embodies what it really means to be a cop.
To protect and serve indeed.
