When a young couple in a black Corvette were pulled over by a cop, the young fella was found with the “evidence” the cop was looking for, and he said it would lead to a “life sentence.” The woman was scared to death when the cop ordered her boyfriend out of the car and told him to get on his knees.
Austin Urhan and Samantha Watson had been together for seven years. One day, while heading to Scott City, Kansas, to visit grandparents after work, they were pulled over by a police officer.
As Austin was in the habit of speeding—already having accumulated over 20 tickets—this was not an unfamiliar situation for him. This time, however, it wasn’t about speeding … and he knew it. Samantha had no idea why they’d been pulled over, but she noticed her boyfriend was in a bit of a panic when the cop asked for his license and registration.
“Sir, I got a call that there was a black ‘Vette on the interstate driving recklessly. Is that you?” the officer asked.
Austin said nervously, “Well, I … ugh, I might of hit 80 on the highway.”
That’s when the cop asked Austin to step out of the vehicle. Next, he asked Samantha to get out too. She later recalled the conversation on her Facebook page.
Austin was told to put his hands down on the car while the officer did a pat-down search. “That’s just what I thought,” said the officer. “You’re gonna do LIFE for this. Get on your knees and hands behind your back. I need to go get my camera for evidence.”
Samantha stood staring at him, wondering what her man might have been keeping from her all this time.
Recalling the harrowing moment, she wrote on her Facebook page: “I’m dying inside thinking he’s secretly hiding that he’s a drug lord for the past 7 years.”
Then the cop went to get his camera to photograph the “evidence” and came back. “Ma’am, I need you to come over here,” he said. “Right in front of him.”
That’s when Austin presented the “evidence”—it turns out, he wasn’t cuffed after all—he had a ring in his hand, and his “life sentence” was to be one of marriage to the woman he loved!

Thankfully, the officer’s dash cam caught the whole thing, and it was pure gold from start to finish!
The police department later posted the video on Facebook, and it immediately went viral, receiving over half a million views over the weekend.
Samantha had known a proposal was on the way and had laid down a few conditions for him. It was not to be a cliché, and it was to be caught on camera. Her man filled the bill on both counts and still pulled off a whopping number on her without her knowing.
“We made sure to get an epic selfie with the man who scared me to death, and made my dream come true!” Samantha wrote.
