Road rage is pretty common these days, and if you drive for any significant amount of time, you will witness it or be a part of it eventually.
When the driver in this video saw the car in front of him abruptly stop, and the elderly woman driver get out and start walking towards him, he thought he was going to be in trouble, but for what he wasn’t sure.
Was my music too loud? Nah, couldn’t be.
He had a dash cam that was recording it all. As the elderly woman approached, he reviewed in his head any possible offensive infractions he may have made on his current journey. His music was a little loud, but really? He came up with nothing.
What was she doing?
So what the heck was this lady doing? He waited for her to get to his vehicle while taking full inventory of the situation. No weapon? Check! Did she look friendly? Kind of. Maybe she was lost and needed directions? He didn’t know. So, he waited.
Your driving’s great!
When the woman reached the driver’s car, he asked, “Is everything ok?”
She said, “I just wanted to commend you for the way you are driving.”
After a mini-speech she’s off to compliment another day!
She goes into a few more seconds of detail, mentioning that she’s glad he’s not driving drunk, like a moron, or on drugs, and … well, take a listen for yourself!
He thanks her and off they go, feeling good. This is the opposite of road rage.
