Amanda and Becky Bischoff were enjoying a nice family meal at a steakhouse for Mother’s Day when they looked across a restaurant and saw a little old woman shaking so much that she couldn’t properly enjoy her meal.

The restaurant was packed, and she would have otherwise gone unnoticed, except then they saw a busy server come over and attend to the woman.

The woman apologized, saying she had just gotten too old, but he found it no problem at all and patiently helped her cut her steak into pieces.

The restaurant bustled around him, but he kept a smile on his face as he went at the elderly woman’s pace.

The Bischoffs were so touched that Amanda quickly snapped a photo, hoping the kind server would get some recognition.

“Being a server is a tough job, especially on one of the busiest holidays like Mother’s Day. The restaurant was packed, but this server took the time to cut this woman’s steak up for her, we heard her apologize and say she’s just gotten to old. It’s nice to see kind gestures and he is doing it with a smile on his face. Great job Texas Roadhouse,” Amanda Bischoff wrote.

And he certainly did gain recognition.

The photo was quickly shared thousands of times, racking up 1.5 million views. Many people started asking who this server was. A friend of his said, “Alright everyone, this is him, his name is Tyler Guinther.”

“He is a US Marine Infantryman that still lives his life everyday just the same. To him this is just another day, to the rest of us it’s incredible,” Justin Graf wrote. “I can’t believe how viral this has gone! Thank u! He deserves all the recognition in the world.”

Nice job young man, people like you are what make the world a better place !!!” one commenter wrote.

Another commenter shared a similar experience, and why she did it: “I was more than happy to cut a elderly mans steak up for him. People go out to enjoy their meal and relax I believe you should as much as possible to make their experience a memorable one. We are only given one life one day that may be me. Bless his heart!”

Amanda Bischoff added another comment saying she hoped Guinther didn’t feel embarrassed with all the attention, and thanked him again.

“A young man raised right! You likely made that mother’s day, if not year, with your kindness,” one mother added.
