Tow-Truck Driver Narrowly Escapes Death in Car Crash
A car smashed into a tow-truck in Michigan on Jan. 17, narrowly missing its driver.
A Michigan State Police dashcam captured the harrowing moment and uploaded the video to its Twitter account to warn others to slow down when driving in icy conditions.
The footage shows the tow-truck driver fixing a broken down car onto his vehicle, before another car swerves in at speed from the right, smashing into the tow-truck. The collision jolts the car up into the air.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.
“We talk about slowing down in bad weather and giving us a lane,” the Michigan State Police wrote in a tweet.
We talk about slowing down in bad weather and giving us a lane. The trooper saw it coming and was trying to get another car to block the ramp. They never made it. Please give us a lane. pic.twitter.com/rNnV5WXjQG
