Often parents strongly advise their children not to talk to strangers online, and meeting them in person … forget about it!
But, with appropriate caution, meeting people online can be the start of a great friendship—and even lead to a meet-up in real life.
Recently, two little girls were surprised with the opportunity to meet their best friend in person. Their reaction is the sweetest thing you’ll see today.
The two girls had never met face to face.
Roughly four years ago the two decided to introduce the girls to each other and they clicked.
Once the girls were introduced to each other, they spoke to each other via FaceTime on a daily basis.
Although they lived more than seven hours apart that didn’t stop the girls from forming a friendship.
Walker wrote that his daughter and his friend’s daughter would FaceTime with each other daily.
They lived too far away and their schedules never matched up, so they never met in person.
The girls didn’t know it, but their families had a surprise planned.
Walker arranged to drive his daughter, Jalyssa, to his friend’s house to surprise his friend’s daughter, Kylie, for her birthday.
As soon as the two saw each other for the first time they both stood with their hands over their mouths. Neither could believe it.
“Are you real?” Kylie asked before hugging her best friend.
Last night, me and my childhood friend @core330 surprised our daughters. They’ve been on FaceTime everyday for the past 3/4 years and never met in person. They drove 7 hours to surprise Kylie on her birthday and @princesslyssw had no clue either. pic.twitter.com/8Ceh7OOzM9

The video of Kylie and Jalyssa meeting for the first time has gone viral and it’s easy to see why. Their reactions are too sweet.
Walker added that the two best friends got to spend the weekend together doing what best friends do, and when they had to part ways they were back on FaceTime.
Here’s to hoping Kylie and Jalyssa get to hang out again real soon!
