Star Wars Actor Mark Hamill Unveils Walk of Fame Star in Hollywood
Mark Hamill, famous for his role of Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars,” had been given the accolade of a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.
He literally stopped traffic in Hollywood on Thursday, March 8, as thousands of fans flocked to his Walk of Fame ceremony.
Hamill received his award flanked by Harrison Ford, who plays Hans Solo, and by “Star Wars” creator George Lucas.
“Let’s be honest, if it weren’t for the genius of George Lucas, I wouldn’t be standing here today,” he said.
He even indulged in a little showboating, adopting a posture that fans (and detractors) of the latest “Star Wars” film have been talking about ever since the movie was released.
