Houston Police Investigate Death of Boy, 6, Killed by Self-Inflicted Gunshot
The death of a six-year-old boy in Houston is being investigated by police who believe he was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot.
The incident took place on Sunday, Jan. 28, at an apartment complex in West Gulf Bank, Houston Texas, reported Fox 26.
The child’s mother was out of the house at the time, and an elder sibling was babysitting.
She was woken by a gunshot. When the siblings went to investigate, they found the six-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head.
The girl was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The scene is still under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
The day before, in nearby Texas City, police were called after a boy, 4, was also found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
