Family is a blessing, no matter your age. Having people in your life who have known you since childhood and will support you through anything is incredibly important, as a recent Love What Matters Facebook post proves.
A video uploaded by an anonymous source on January 24, 2018, features three elderly women. One is in lying in her hospice bed while the other two, her sisters, stand up and fix her hair. The video’s caption reads:
“My 97-year-old grandma is being loved by her sisters, all in their 90s. When my sisters are old, I will brush their hair and make sure they look pretty, until the very end. My grandma got her wish to have hospice in her own home.”
The two women make sure their sister is still looking her best.
While the sisters get the woman’s bangs “like she wears ’em,” they make cute loving comments.
“One sister takes care of another, huh?” the woman in the bed asks.
“Yeah,” one of her sisters replies.
“Looking good!” says the woman holding the camera, presumably the granddaughter who submitted the post.
“Now, let me get the back a little bit…,” one sister says.
The clip is short (only about 40 second long) but it captures the love between family members. Clearly it has spoken to people as it currently sits at 32 million views, 703,000 reactions, and 585,000 shares.
The touching moment has inspired thousands of people to share their own stories.
