People usually complain about rain, but they have probably forgotten the wonder of experiencing it for the very first time.
Luckily, we get to see this joy through the eyes of Kayden, a little girl who had never played or danced in the rain before.
She was so overwhelmed by the feeling of tiny water droplets falling from the sky and onto her face and hands, that she did not want to go back inside, even when she was carried through the door. She stayed outside standing directly in the rain and getting soaked, squealing with delight.
Life seen from the perspective of a child is truly refreshing. As the Russian writer and philosopher Fyodor Dostoyevsky said, “The soul is healed by being with children.”
