This is Todd. He saved his human from a rattlesnake yesterday. A true h*ckin hero. He’s expected to make a full recovery and has been rewarded our fifth ever 15/10 pic.twitter.com/TsS6isI0Ew

At the end of June, Paula Godwin and her two dogs, Copper and Todd, went out for an early morning walk in Arizona.
The trio stuck to a paved path, but as they made their way down a hill along the path, something caught Todd’s eye. The 6-month-old pup spotted a rattlesnake near his owner’s leg.
While out for a walk with his caretaker, Todd jumped at a rattlesnake.
Godwin hadn’t noticed the snake until she heard her dog’s yelp, followed by the snake’s infamous rattle. She immediately picked Todd up, told Copper to follow her, and rushed her boy to the animal hospital where he received anti-venom and stayed for 12 hours.
“He totally saved me from getting bit, and he’s for sure my hero,” Godwin told ABC15 Arizona.
Todd’s face quickly began to swell at the site of the bite.
Thankfully over the course of a few days and some rest, though a 6-month-old puppy can only handle so much rest, Todd’s swelling improved.
“He’s doing absolutely fabulous,” Godwin shared with Hope Rises.
Within a few days the swelling decreased.
