Dog always wanders into a stranger’s home to take a nap, then she finds a note on his collar

A woman noticed that she always seemed to get the same furry visitor in her yard.

Seeing a cute stray dog is of course not unusual, but this time it was different. The dog was not in danger, nor was he in need of a home. He seemed well-fed and had a collar, so she was curious as to where he came from.

For several weeks, the friendly, older dog would follow this stranger into her home and take a nap.

After her furry visitor slept for about an hour, he would get up and stand near the door to be let out. Every day, this same routine continued—until the part-time care-taker grew more curious. She wanted to find out where the dog was from, so she attached a note to his collar.

“I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap,” it said, according to Tickld.

As usual, the next day the dog returned for his nap, but with a new note on his collar that read, “He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3. He’s trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?'”

With such a big family, it probably gets a little stressful for everyone involved—especially with the holidays approaching. Our furry friends might need some extra shut-eye too!
