Any situation where anyone has to call 911 is scary. Most adults don’t even handle emergency situations well, so listening to Savannah Hensley’s phone call to 911 when she was 5 years old is just incredible.

Savannah’s father Frank had a heart attack while reading her a bedtime story, and he couldn’t breathe. She quickly dialed 911 and answered the dispatcher’s questions in a calm fashion—while still managing to be utterly adorable.

Case in point, after the dispatcher asked Savannah about her father’s condition, she’s concerned that they may not be dressed appropriately. Here’s an excerpt:

Dispatcher: Can you ask him if this has ever happened before?

Savannah: (to her father) Has this ever happened?

Savannah: (to dispatcher) No, so far so good … He’s still awake.

Dispatcher: Hey, ask him if he has any kind of chest pain.

Savannah: (to her father) Do you have any chest pain?

Savannah: (to dispatcher) Yes.

Dispatcher: Ok.

Savannah: This is his first time.

Dispatcher: Ok. I got them on the way so…

Savannah: Ok. We’re in our jammies … and I’m in a tank top. So … I’ll have to get dressed.

Dispatcher: Ok.

Savannah: I don’t … what I am gonna wear, but … he really needs oxygen, real fast. Yes, the door’s unlocked.

Dispatcher: Ok.

Not only did Savannah help save her father’s life, she captured the hearts of internet users around the world.

Listen to the full call now—and warning: you will definitely saw “awww.”
