“I loved the gracefulness, and the storytelling of it. I loved the different warriors, and how they depicted that. I loved the graphics. I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

“My sister was a championship Irish dancer, and she represented the United States in the World’s Dance, and I think she placed silver. And my daughter’s more into ballet and lyrical. So the foot movements ... as a mom, watching her dance, and then seeing these girls perform and doing the splits in the air, and the gymnastics of the men, the leaps and the height that they got were amazing.”

“[The erhu] was unusual. With just two strings, it was able to do the whole song. And it was ancient. It’s beautiful.”

“I thought a lot of the dancers looked like angels, of the divine being. ... It’s amazing.”

“I thought it was great. I came with my mom, and she’s been wanting to see this for five years. So this was a birthday gift to me from her. It’s pretty nice. I think it’s going to be something that we’ll remember and cherish, and maybe make a tradition to come again, each year.”
