LAS VEGAS—Gary Pulliam, a municipal court judge, saw Shen Yun Performing Arts with his fiancée, Quinn Vu, at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on March 6.

Mr. Pulliam said, “I enjoyed the show very much. It was excellent. It was visually stunning.  The time went by so quickly. Each story was very interesting. And the emcees did very well. I’m going to recommend it to friends.”
Shen Yun Performing Arts is a New York-based, world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company. Founded by Chinese artists who escaped persecution in China, Shen Yun enjoys artistic freedom in the United States with the mission to revive traditional Chinese culture and share it with audiences around the world.

Speaking about Shen Yun’s mission, Mr. Pulliam said, “I think that’s a great thing that they are doing it here in America.”

He continued to say, “I got the impression from watching [Shen Yun] that the message is about values, tradition, culture, and wanting to preserve that.”

“Also, the message I got was to be a pure person and have a good outlook on life.  A lot of the vignettes were about Good overcomes evil.”

Ms. Vu said, “I got the message of the divine. It’s the best show I’ve ever seen. And I was very impressed with [the dance drama in which] the people shared the food.”
Mr. Pulliam was happy to find out that Shen Yun is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. He said, “Keep up the good work! I failed to mention the Shen Yun Orchestra as well. They did an outstanding job. I meant to tell the performers, the whole crew, everybody, just keep going. Don’t give up.”
