“I love the range of what we are seeing here, from ancient dynasty interpretation, ... emperors or ancient dances that have happened for generations or centuries, but, at the same time, we have a modern look and feel for some, [and] what is actually going on in modern times in China.”

“It’s very insightful and very meaningful, seeing that [that modern day dance about faith] can’t be performed in China to this day. That being said, some of the other dances were beautifully choreographed and extremely insightful in that ... the outfits were interpretations of very elemental features in the environments, like their teal tops and their bottoms kind of resembled a flower. You had this really great connection that you see in the dances and the same time, connections with nature. It was very moving.”

“There is actually an educational experiences through dance. So, it was a very fun way to learn a little bit of history and culture just through performance.”
