Roberta Gugliotta, company CEO, said, “I think it was very inspiring for me. It allowed me to get closer to Chinese culture, to learn about your show, which I had heard about, but never had the opportunity to come and see in person.
“It really impressed me from all points of view, both artistically and culturally, and for the simplicity with which you showed the messages you wanted to convey. So they certainly came across very directly with an artistic ability that I believe few, very few, possess.
“I was struck by the ability of all the dancers to always be in sync. I was really struck by this, in addition to the beauty of the costumes [and] your ability to be perfect in every gesture and every expression,” Ms. Gugliotta said.
Piero Lucchetti, a retired lieutenant general in the Italian army, said, “We have seen other shows of this kind. However, it is really very beautiful, very talented. That interaction between the live and the digital is also a truly exceptional idea.”
Simona Cozzi, a journalist said, “I think you have given a very complete picture and this helps the audience to learn much more about the history of China before communism.”
“I’m glad that there are such courageous people who are willing to go against the situation in their country, and who want to tell the world about their true traditions. So I admire them,” Marco D’Alesio, a business owner, said.
Simone Pojano, a company director said, “It’s a story I didn’t know, and I was very struck by the thought that at this moment in history, there are still such strong restrictions on freedom and thought.”
Each performance draws from China’s rich cultural heritage with themes of spirituality and faith, values that are found at the origins of traditional Chinese culture.
Ms. Gugliotta said, “I was struck by the divinity behind everything you showed us and the perfection, your ability to be expressive, much more so than perhaps we are.”
Mr. Pojano said, “It was certainly very innovative compared to traditional dance than I imagined. It was a very artistic, athletic, and beautiful classical dance with great choreography.”
Ms. Cozzi said, “Beautiful, very beautiful, and very elegant. I was very impressed by Chinese culture, having this overview of the past and the present, very beautiful, congratulations.”
