Epoch Times Text Program Terms apply to your use of Epoch Times short message service, also referred to as SMS or text messaging. Your participation in any Epoch Times text message program constitutes your express consent to receive communications to your mobile phone and/or device and your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of the text message program by following the opt-out instructions below.

Program Description

Epoch Times offers one-time and recurring text message programs. By enrolling in an Epoch Times text message program, you consent to receive text messages sent by, or on behalf of, Epoch Times at the mobile number to which you have directed Epoch Times to transmit these messages.

Text message programs offered by Epoch Times include recurring and non-recurring text messages related to our users’ subscription (such as upcoming events, account alerts, etc) and promotional offers from the Epoch Times.

Opting In

By providing your phone number or otherwise signing up for a text message program, you expressly consent to receive text messages which may be sent via an automated telephone dialing system. Consent to receiving these messages is not a condition of purchase. Further, you represent that you are the account holder, subscriber and/or customary user for the mobile number you enroll into the program. You are responsible for notifying Epoch Times immediately if you change your mobile number. You may notify Epoch Times of a number change by visiting our Help Center to contact us.

Cost

Text message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. The rates may be changed by your mobile carrier and payable by you to that carrier. Epoch Times does not impose a separate fee for sending text messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

Message Frequency

The number of Epoch Times text messages you receive will vary depending on how many of the Epoch Times text messaging programs you sign up to receive messages from.

Opting Out

You may opt-out of an Epoch Times text message program at any time. To opt-out, text “STOP” from the enrolled mobile device in response to an Epoch Times text message or visit our Help Center to contact us. A message confirming that you have opted-out of the applicable Epoch Times text messaging program will be sent to your mobile number. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help by visiting our Help Center.

Neither Epoch Times nor Mobile Carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
