“Beautiful pageantry. The dancers are very gifted, very much so. It was very nice effects, beautiful effects.”

“I was particularly fascinated by the two stringed instrument—the erhu, a very gifted player. Very, very nicely done. It was very, very nice.”

“[The instrumentation] is quite beautiful. And it’s interesting to see the interwoven factor of the Western and Eastern.”

“There is a resonance in the devotional aspect of it most definitely. I think it’s very difficult when you’re not able to practice your religion freely.
