Very Cherry Vanilla Smoothie Recipe

Cherries are sweet, juicy, just a little tart, and full of health promoting goodness. Combined with the anti-inflammatory, mood-boosting omega-3s found in flax oil, this sweet smoothie is sure to put a smile on your face.

Ingredients:

2 cups pitted fresh cherries
1 cup plain organic yogurt
2 tablespoons organic flax oil (Barlean’s is a good choice )
1 tbsp raw honey
¼ tsp vanilla
1 cup ice (about 7 ice cubes)

Directions:

In a blender, combine ingredients in order listed and purée to a frosty consistency. Serves 2-3.
