“It’s like a three-dimensional experience,” he said, noting that multiple senses from visual, to audio, to even the cultural and spiritual side of the audience are engaged while watching the show.
“The costumes, the colour, the lights, and the music all kind of come together very nicely,” said Mr. Keyes after seeing Shen Yun at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on March 28.
“What I’m thinking when I’m watching it is how many hours it must have taken for them to train and to get the synchronization and the music so perfect. It was really something to see,” he said.
“As far as the sound goes, the orchestra is incredible. ... They’re so talented and obviously working so hard.”
“It’s really, really good to get a sense of the history and get a sense of the spiritual side of things, how people are maintaining that cultural connection and their religious beliefs,” he said.
