BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—Shen Yun Performing Arts played in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 12, taking audiences on a journey through “China before communism.” Theatergoers commented on the beauty and artistry of the performance.

“I really love the synchronicity among all the dancers, the colors, brilliant, spectacular, [and] beautiful,” Catalina Corbelli, a business owner, said. “The screen effects are also very beautiful. [They have] so much passion for what they do. Everyone truly shined!”

“Beautiful. It conveys a lot of emotion. Each artist is full of light, the music, everything that happens on stage is magical. You can really feel the love and warmth on stage, and that really comes across, so keep it up,” Gastón Inzaghi, an auditor, said.

Shen Yun’s mission is to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture through classical Chinese dance and music. Audience members resonated with the cultural messages and values presented on stage.

“It’s a beautiful experience that awakens all the senses, and it brings you back to the essentials, to what’s natural, to what’s simple, to the everyday, to the beauty of being able to observe how life dances,” Erica Ryder Wismath, a psychologist, said.

Eduardo Andrés Torres, an architect, enjoyed  “the harmony, the structure of the composition, the way they moved, how perfect they were.”

“And then, of course, the music too is fantastic. The live orchestra, that really makes for a top-notch show,” he said,

“It was also a very relaxing moment, a time to connect with our inner selves, and I was particularly captivated by this harmony between the spiritual and the human. Beautiful, deeply human, and deeply spiritual,” Sister Adriana Ruiz, a member of the Franciscan Missionary Clarist Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, said.

“Thank you very much for sharing with us, through art, the full range of their experiences, their culture, their faith, and the reality of life in their country, all expressed through art. Thank you very much,” Sister Hilda Ballesteros said.

Shen Yun will be performing in São Paulo, Brazil, Apr 30–May 4, and Porto Alegre, Brazil, May 9–10. It also has performances across Mexico May 1-10.
