Shen Yun’s visual world, inspired by China’s various dynasties and ethnic groups, leaves a lasting impression.“I love the fabrics and the Chinese silks—they’re absolutely lovely,” Ms. Cartosia said, referring to Shen Yun’s handcrafted costumes.
For Mr. Hoyos, the aesthetics reflect an inner harmony: “There is a sense of purity in both the dance and the costumes, which are both incredibly beautiful and harmonious.”
