Shen Yun’s Dancing Overflows With Traditional Chinese Elements

ATLANTA—On the evening of Dec 28, 2013, Shen Yun International Company’s second show in Atlanta commenced.

In just a couple of years, the exquisite performance of Shen Yun Performing Arts has gained an outstanding reputation worldwide and has become an artistic feast for people both at home and abroad. Ms. Wang, from Shanghai, China, met with her friends to watch the second Shen Yun performance at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Ms. Wang is an employee at a multinational company, so she often travels to the United States for business. She explained that she first found out about Shen Yun through the television and decided to come see it with her friends.

After watching the Shen Yun performance, she said that she could see traditional Chinese elements in each of the dances.

Ms. Wang praised the extraordinary skills of Shen Yun’s performers as well as the lively music and rhythms of the entire production. She also felt that the show had a magnificent effect throughout. “It was like heaven on earth—absolutely splendid,” she said.
