NEW YORK—Greg Sobiech, co-founder and managing partner of Delve Partners took some time off from his usual duties of data analytics, business intelligence, and marketing consulting to delight his senses by attending the Shen Yun Performing Arts playing at the Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York.

Mr. Sobiech said that he particularly enjoyed the dancing: “I think some of the presenters were mentioning that traditional Chinese dance is very unique because it combines twists, and very interesting hand movements, and I do think that is unique.”

In fact Classical Chinese Dance is known for its aerial spins and flips while also having a gentle elegance. It is considered to be one of the most rigorous and expressive art forms in the world.

“It’s really fun to watch,” said Mr. Sobiech, noting that the training of the dancers was great, making for an enjoyable time.

He said he was surprised to find out that Shen Yun Performing Arts is based in New York.

Mr. Sobiech concluded by saying: “It’s wonderful. Before coming here, I have never seen a traditional Chinese performance. It’s really my first time.”
