“It is wonderful to keep the tradition. I think it is something that we need to work really hard to keep alive to make sure that our children know our traditions. It’s wonderful what [Shen Yun is] doing.”

“I try to teach my children to remember the old ways because today, our children are forgetting … because of the new ways, the cell phones, and all the electronics.”

“I think everything was very well put together—very touching, very emotional.”

“It has a very deep meaning—the entire show. It takes you years back in history, to what China has been, in contrast to what it is like today. It is very deep, rich in culture.”

“I’m very moved. I wish I had come to see the show earlier—years earlier. … I think everybody [in the audience] feels very moved, very happy, very amazed with everything that we just witnessed here tonight.”

“[The performance] makes me feel that we all have a purpose in life. It does not matter where we come from, what we are, what nationality we are. We all have one purpose in life, and it is to seek heaven and to do things the right way.”
