Seeing Shen Yun ‘Is an absolute necessity in your mortal life’

“The show was magnificent. It was an experience that can be compared to nothing else. I would like to say it was incomparable. We cannot explain it with English articulation … We have been truly blessed by this opportunity to see these actors, these artists, these amazing individuals that have brought a piece of their history to the United States, and we are so honored to be able to have the opportunity to view them tonight.”

“The elegance, and the regality [of the costumes], it transports [us] into a time that we’re not familiar with.”

“This particular production is not played in China. It’s unfortunate that is the reality, but we have been able to benefit from that extensively and amazingly.”

“The music was absolutely wonderful, and that instrument with the two strings, it amazingly … did exactly what the presenter said. As soon as she started playing, it elicited emotion from you to the point that it would make you cry.”

“Tonight in general, [it] makes me feel I am elated, I am honored, I am blessed, I am overwhelmed.”

“I would tell them [my friends] it’s the most amazing production, and they must see it immediately. If they can’t see it this year, as we learned, they can come back, and it’s a different show every year. We are going to tell everyone we know, ‘You must, it’s an absolute necessity in your mortal life, that you come and see Shen Yun.’”
