Prominent Clarinetist: Shen Yun Is ‘Something That the Soul Absorbs’
Prominent Argentine-born Israeli clarinetist Giora Feidman, who specializes in klezmer music, enjoyed Shen Yun Performing Arts at The Opera House in Tel Aviv, Israel, on March 26, 2018. (NTD Television)

“It’s not that it’s hard for me to express it in words, there are just no words to express it—that level that brings the person, brings the soul, the connection with the soul, the connection between everything. Let’s put it another way, I am not the same person that went into the performance, I am not the same person now coming out [of the performance;] much more, …  how to express it—rich. I have no words, I have no words.”

“The movement, the language of the body, it’s an amazing expression. The colors, the combination of the colors, and the movement—this whole evening, again and again, I can’t say more than this. I am not the same person that went [into the performance], because in fact when you go to some kind of a show or something of this sort that is an expression of the soul, you need to come with no expectation, only to expect to what will be given [to you], so they gave so much, it was so much that they gave—that’s it.”

“Everything is perfect.”

“What they gave me, this is what I am taking with me. This is something that the soul absorbs, takes—not takes, accepts. I have no words, I just have no words.”
