Navy Officer: Shen Yun is Unbelievable, Indescribable

“This is the second time we’ve seen the show … because it was so good the first time. We’ve been telling friends about it. Our friends are with us who we went to high school and college with. They said we’d like to see it, so we invited them to come here. Next year, we’ll be back.”

“It’s just fantastic. You can’t describe it.”

“To me [the dancers] look like it’s one person. They are all in sync with their jumps and twirling, it’s fantastic.”

“I understand how these dancers have to train and train and train to get everything correct. They don’t miss a step.”

“We are interested in history, and this has a lot to do with understanding what people had to go through to get to where they are today.”

“When we heard [about Shen Yun], we said let’s go to it and see what they are trying to tell you. I learned that not everybody could live under a dictator. They had to break away and tell these people [about] history way back when, because the younger generation has no idea what their ancestors had to go through to make a living.”

“It’s unbelievable. You really can’t put it too much into words.”

“When they are dancing, you feel like you want to try and twirl because it just looks so beautiful. The way they used the scarfs, it’s just like the flowers … It gives you more of a sense of life, that there are things like this in the world that people don’t know about.”
