“I actually really liked the spiritual aspect of it, and it was a nice kind of an eye opening thing for the culture of China. They kind of see some of the beliefs manifested on the stage—very interesting.

“To think a little more about eternity and not so much about being weighed down by money and things, some of the normal trappings of everyday life.

“It’s very aspiring because basically it’s all the same, the dance movement and the martial arts movement. They all use the human body and the movements are very fluid. It’s beautiful for me to watch.”
