I tell anyone who inquires about this drink at my café that it is like drinking a cloud (a crazy delicious cloud). While none of us will ever truly know what that is like, it doesn’t take much imagination when drinking this to feel like this may be as close as you’ll ever get to that sensation.
Yield: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1½ cups milk of choice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 2 tbsp date paste (see below)
- dash of cinnamon
- several pieces of ice
Date Paste
- 2 cups pitted deglet noor or medjool dates
- Filtered water to cover
