Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) emphasizes the free and smooth flow of qi (energy) and blood (nutrients) through the body’s meridians as essential to health and vitality. Disruptions in this flow may contribute to a variety of ailments, affecting everything from digestion to skin appearance.
As a certified personal trainer, I’ve integrated TCM principles into my work, sharing practical exercises and massage techniques that unblock key meridians and promote a more balanced, holistic approach to health.
Stimulating the Stomach Meridian for Digestion and Complexion
In TCM, the stomach meridian plays a central role in digestion and overall vitality. It begins at the sides of the nose, descends through the face, chest, and abdomen, continues along the front of the legs, and ends at the second toe. This meridian travels along the entire front of the body. Stimulating it can help regulate digestive function and support overall energy flow.
