“I feel much better now, after seeing this show. I don’t feel that I was unwell. It’s given me a lot of energy to see this performance, all the artists. [It’s] very colorful.”

“People are so busy with their personal lives these days, people are busy with new technology, all the media, all those things and they’re forgetting their culture, and eventually at the end of the day, you must know who you are, what gives you peace in life.”

“Your culture, your ethnicity, your belonging, if you don’t know about that, you are a lost soul. So it’s very important for any community, doesn’t matter where you come from, to know your history, know your background, it shows you where you belong and that gives you a lot of peace of mind and a lot of inner satisfaction.”

“This is the message they are giving: you must have inner satisfaction.”

“There is a old saying ‘your roots will hold you long’. They are spread under the ground; leaves will come and go, but the roots will stay there. If your roots are strong, any where you go in the world you’ll stay strong, people will respect you more, because you respect your own culture and identity. Whichever country or culture you come from.”
