Arts Association President Describes Shen Yun as ‘Perfect Divine Beauty’

“I can only use ‘perfect divine beauty’ to describe it, and the image is still lingering in my mind. … Shen Yun belongs to the entire world, and I think it would be a pity if I [had] missed it.”

“Take the pieces “The Great Khan” and ‘Light Cavalry Overture.’ As soon as the music sounded, the magnificent scenes appeared in my mind. In particular, in the music of “The Great Khan,” we could hear the sounds of the ‘hujia’ [a traditional Mongolian flute] and horses’ hooves galloping ahead in the desert. The music was so touching! “

“Listening to [Shen Yun] music is like washing our bone marrow. All of our weariness will be cleansed, and we will feel very comfortable mentally. It’s been a long time since I have been so touched.”

“What’s especially unique is that Shen Yun blends the Chinese musical instruments, the pipa, erhu, etcetera, with a Western symphony orchestra.”
