“It was wonderful. The costumes were marvelous, and the technology was spectacular. It was very, very good.”

“It [Shen Yun] let me know what the Chinese culture was really about going from different periods to periods. I learned a lot. I learned a lot about the Chinese people and their land.”

“I learned that they do believe in a God, but they have been punished at times, and also the Buddhist religion is important. And I learned that creating art is very important in their culture, too, learning to dance, and to just create … their imagination.”

“I loved the pastel, and I also like the bright colors that they would have on at times, and the scenery, the imagery behind the dancers. I loved all of it. I loved the soft colors and the bright colors. It was just beautiful, beautiful the way it was put together.”
