KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—Chen Suchen, an actress who has appeared in various Taiwanese dramas, arrived at Kaohsiung County Government Labor Affairs Bureau on March 14 with her friend to watch the Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour performance.
“Upon seeing the entire performance, I can only use the word ‘stunning’ to describe it.”
At the end of the performance, after the majority of the audience members had left, Ms. Chen remained in her seat “because it was so touching, so astounding.”
She said that she had been in Southern Taiwan for the past few days and met a friend who introduced her to Shen Yun. “This was a very rare but wonderful opportunity. Every program displayed beautiful scenes.
“Every performer’s dance techniques were superb. Just by looking at their physical movements, I knew what each one was trying to convey. Actually, I want to watch this show again.
“I truly thank the director behind the scenes who put these programs together. I feel very joyful now after watching such a delicately made performance.
“For those who haven’t seen the show, they really should come and take a look.”
