When the curtain rose, Ms. Tsai was stunned by the combination of the music, lighting, and dancing. “It took my breath away. I was speechless,” said Ms. Tsai.

“It’s terrific that such a marvelous performance can come to Taiwan. I will be back next year if possible.”

Mr. Yan Jeou-Hsiung: “There were Mongolian, Tibetan, Han, Bai, and Yi dances. The artists were able to bring out the essence of these folk and royal dances, and they looked so charming.”

Amazed by the music, he noted, “Talking about the orchestra composed of Eastern and Western classical musical instruments, I have never seen such a special combination. The feeling is very special.”

Chen Jinxiong: “I really admire how Shen Yun incorporates Chinese traditions and divinely inspired culture into the storylines.”

Mr. Liao found it very interesting that the Shen Yun Orchestra seamlessly blends Eastern and Western musical instruments and that the interactions produce magnificent euphonic and audio experiences.

Ms. Hsu was very impressed with Shen Yun’s outstanding and superb presentation.

Ms. Kao Shu-Chuan: “We should rediscover the values of mankind. I found the universal value, the most fundamental value of mankind—kindness, in Shen Yun.”

Joseph Kuo Nan-Hong: “My wife saw it in Los Angeles once and she said that she wanted to see it again. I will meet my friends in southern Taiwan and attend the performance when Shen Yun comes to Tainan.”

The dancer felt that experiencing Shen Yun fulfilled a deep wish she had as an artist. “I tried to control my emotion, because a show with such gorgeous costumes, magnificent pomp, and outstanding dancers is a very, very big dream of dance artists.
