Sioin Queenie Liao is a mother of three boys. She focuses most of her art work on her children.
She used to take photos of nature, but her focus changed to her son Wengenn when he was born in 2002. Inspired by her love for fairy tale illustrations and by the photographer Anne Geddes, Liao began setting up intricate scenes in which to place little Wengenn when he fell asleep.
Her son becomes the fantasy characters in a dream world as he sleeps.
She compiled an album titled “Wengenn in Wonderland” and published a book in Taiwan, “Sleepy Baby,” in 2012.
