BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—On the evening of April 9, Shen Yun International Company opened its 2026 South America tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a full house at the Teatro Ópera. The performance drew an enthusiastic response from audience members, including Argentine Congressman Sergio Palazzo, who praised the performance as an artistically rich and inspiring experience.
“It is a beautiful performance from an artistic point of view. We really enjoyed the harmony of the movements and the beauty of the costumes—it is truly very beautiful,” Mr. Palazzo said.
Mr. Palazzo, an Argentine politician, banker, and labor union leader, has served as secretary general of the banking union La Asociación Bancaria since 2009 and been a member of Argentina’s Chamber of Deputies since 2021.
Reflecting on the experience as a whole, Mr. Palazzo highlighted the atmosphere of the performance. “I loved the sense of peace it transmits—that is something very meaningful,” he said.
Beyond its artistic elements, the performance highlighted the importance of cultural heritage. “It is always good to show the roots of countries. It is always good to be able to know and understand where cultures come from,” Mr. Palazzo said.
