Python pizza is the latest offering in Florida, along with toppings such as gator and frog.

The toppings are now offered at Evan’s Neighborhood Pizza on Palm Beach Blvd in Fort Myers.

The pizza in question, the “Everglades pizza,” comes with alligator, hog, frog legs, swamp cabbage, and python.

It’s unclear if the toppings are offered individually.

Pretty much all of these ingredients come from Florida--except for the python. “We ship it in from an exotic meat distributor,” Avis Daniell, a partner at the store, told the Broward Palm Beach New Times. “It’s farm raised. It has to be.” It’s raised in Vietnam.

Evan Daniell, creator of the pie, said that it tastes like snake. Mike, a tourist tasting the pizza, told the Global Post that “It tastes like chicken but chewier,”

News of the pizza is now trending on the Internet.

“It was just to create talk about the shop and being creative and this thing literally just went viral,” Evan  said.

“People talk about it all the time and whether it’s negative or positive, it really doesn’t matter because the fact is: we can make it and it’s delicious.”

The Everglades pizza costs $45. It’s already in strong demand. “People love ordering it for birthdays and celebrations,” Daniell said.
