My husband had an ultrasound test to look at his liver and gallbladder. They were fine, but it showed a 3.3 cm bulge in his aorta. What can be done to prevent it from becoming an aneurysm?
Answer: The aorta leads downward from the heart through the chest and into the abdomen. In the pelvis, the vessel splits into two branches that go to the legs.
