Harvard scientists and Google researchers have created the largest 3D reconstruction of the human brain to date.

Although just a cubic millimeter of brain tissue, the mapping contains 57,000 cells, 230 millimeters of blood vessels and 150 million synapses. This endeavor resulted in the production of 1,400 terabytes of data, which the team has made available as an online resource.
