This easy berry protein smoothie uses mixed frozen berries and multiple sources of protein for a filling, nourishing breakfast to carry you through the day.

Berries, especially blueberries, are full of vitamins and antioxidants called flavonoids that fight inflammation. In addition, researchers led by UC’s Robert Krikorian, PhD, found that adding blueberries to the daily diets of certain middle-aged populations may lower the chances of developing late-life dementia.
