NEW YORK—Modern furniture boutique Lazzoni is cementing its position in New York City with a new flagship store in SoHo.

Baked by Melissa is closing its very first location, a pick-up window in SoHo, so owner Melissa Ben-Ishay passed out free cupcakes July 21 at the spot where it all began.

Hogar Dulce Hogar is Spanish for “home, sweet home.” It’s also a Basque bakery, whose other location is in Donastia, San Sebastián.

Naked Lunch, a 20-year-old business in Soho, announced last Friday that it will close.

Amid the bustling and brisk SoHo scene—the cronut mania, the shopping mecca—there are still pockets of an older SoHo, such as a little Italian trattoria called Il Corallo.

The cafe that is said to often serve stars such as David Schwimmer, Uma Thurman, and Claire Danes throughout its 16-year tenure in Soho is closing permanently Sunday.

With the arrival of spring, summer shopping, colorful dresses, and smiling faces are in full bloom in Soho.
