LONDON—Prem Sivasamy, a director of an international mobile communications company, brought 16 family members and friends to see Shen Yun Performing Arts at The London Coliseum on Wednesday, April 6.

“It’s fantastic, we really truly enjoyed it. Just superb.” he said after the show.

New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts is a dazzling showcase of Chinese classical dance, with a mission to revive traditional Chinese culture and its values such as virtue and kindness.

A Chinese friend introduced Prem Sivasamy to the show. He appreciated the show’s spiritual message.

“When it comes to Chinese cultural things we always enjoy it, so it’s really nice.”

‘Very well planned’

Dr. Bala, a medical doctor, also came to see the show with his wife, saying Shen Yun was a real “treat” for Londoners.

“Very well planned and very well executed. They are really good.” He said. “It’s a very good opportunity to see the Chinese performing arts.”

Michael, a Real Estate manager, brought his wife and family members to see the show. He said that Shen Yun really carried the “spirit of China,” and brought back to him memories of Hong Kong some 40 years ago. The costumes the people, the happiness.

His companion said she loved the dance in which the famous terracotta warriors come to life. “I’ve been to China five times and when we saw the terracotta soldiers it meant so much to me because I’ve been there.” She also praised Shen Yun’s dancing and originality.

Michael’s wife said, “I find it beautiful. A lot of talent, a lot of talent.”
