As most comic book and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans know, Spider Man got bitten by a radio-active spider and got superpowers. The Hulk got his powers after getting caught in the blast of a DNA-altering gamma bomb of his own creation. And The Fantastic Four are former astronauts who underwent genetic mutation by cosmic rays on a space mission. The strange abilities they developed, like all super heroes, catapulted them towards doing benevolent deeds for the good of mankind.
